WLBCR LAKE ASSOCIATION POLICIES (approved 10/17/2009)

POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF THE E-MAIL DISTRIBUTION LIST  

The WLBCR Lakes Association will maintain an e-mail distribution list for the purpose of communicating the business of WLBCR to the membership and any others who wish to receive communications from WLBCR.  WLBCR will be the sole custodian of the distribution list and it will not be given, rented, or sold to any individual or organization. 

Lake associations, environmental partners and others who wish to use the distribution list for the purpose of making an announcement that would be consistent with WLBCR’s Objectives as defined by the Bylaws (Article III, Section 2) must submit the announcement to the Secretary or President for approval by the Board of Directors.  Upon approval, WLBCR will send the announcement to the WLBCR membership.

POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF THE ASSOCIATION WEB SITE

The WLBCR Lakes Association will maintain a web site for the purposes of communicating information to its members and others who have an interest in the information of the Association.  Information on the web site must support the WLBCR Objectives as defined by the Bylaws (Article III, Section 2) and must not be for commercial uses.  The WLBCR Board of Directors will determine suitability of information on the WLBCR Association web site.
