Association Buoys

The Wabedo-Little Boy-Cooper-Rice Lakes Association has purchased and is responsible for water marker buoys on both Little Boy and Wabedo Lakes. Members maintain the buoys, putting them in the lake in the spring, removing them in the fall, and storing them over the winter.
Bruce Black handles the Wabedo buoys and Randy Helland handles the Little Boy bouy. A BIG "Thank You" goes out to these members for volunteering their time ! ! !

Little Boy

This buoy marks the end of a weed bed.
The black and white vertical stripes indicate boaters should not go between it and the shore.
This weed bed was being destroyed by boaters who went right through the middle of it.
Hopefully, boaters will know and follow the waterway marker rules.

Wabedo

These markers are located at the narrows between the basins of Wabedo.
They indicate slow speed and danger of rocks.
